Modding trouble

Hey guys im using Frosty but none of the mods are showing up in game. The mods are activated and have their box ticked. Ive tried deleting the ModData folder. Tried validating files. Tried reinstalling the game and origin. Nothing works.

Does anyone have advice?

did you launch it with frostymod manger and not through origin?

Yep, Ive tried launching it through frosty, origin, steam and the exe.

you say you have both? you dont need two of the same mod but that wouldnt stop it from working. enhanced charecter creator never worked for me IMO so if you are baseing it all off not getting a new char creator just know i also failed to get it working.

now i hope someone who mods the steam edition is around buttt try running frostys and other tools as admin to see if that helps.
my origin edition works well. sadly they gimped steam edition with haveing to launch through steama and origins

No sorry, I just copied the name of the mod. I just have the frosty version.

Thanks., Ill try disabling the enchanced character mod and try running frosty as admin.

Wish I could refund it and just buy it on origin directly but ive technically played for 10 hours, even though most of it was troubleshooting.

Are you running just frosty mods, or are you using some mods that are daimod as well? i know if you run both you have to alter the patch files and what not for it to work together. I don't use frosty cause honestly I couldn't be bothered and most of the mods I wanted to use were daimod files. As far as modding the game I have modded both versions and they were the same, made no difference, which version it was except folder locations.

im not sure what your talken about. i have modded on origins and i only had to use dai loader first and then frosty.

Let me explain better lol. i was asking if they were trying to run frosty mods as well as the older style diamod files through the frosty manager together. Running them both is possible, but one would need to alter the games patch file, so frost loads both of them. unless of course they have changed that since I messed with a while back.

As far as my modding the game statement I was just pointing out that no matter which version you have origin or steam modding is done in the same way., and no version is superior or inferior as far as modding goes.

i do belive you are wrong. its alot simpler you could prob even run frosty mods now if you wanted if all your stuff is on dai loader.

it seem this guy has insalled dai loader mods like thiccer legs and arms. with frostys this isnt reccomened anywhere i have seen doe some say its fine.

frosty just works on top of the dai patched folder. not create a new one

This is where I got the info from, and never said is was hard lol. It's Literally changing the patch folder name.

you mean to keep a backup? so if you ever wanted to use dai loader again you could. dai loader needs a fresh patch to install mods each time.

no as of a year ago, according to that tutorial and other's you changed the games patch folders name, so frosty would load its mods, as well as all the daimod files that are installed in the games original patch folder

i see you ment during the install process. you need to change the patch name from patch_xxx to patch or somesuch everytime you install dai loader mods ye...... i see now what you ment.
you yourself could in theory be useing frosty mods and not risk damageing your own patch file frostys way of applying mods is different.

Hey guys, here with an update. I gave up on getting frosty to work and decided to use daimod instead. Havent had any problems and all the mods work fine.
