Server connection issues?
I was successfully playing DA:I yesterday morning (30th Sept), but after taking a break and shutting the program, I haven't been able to successfully launch.

I keep getting an error message that says "not connected to the Dragon Age server. Connect to access multiplayer mode and the Dragon Age Keep website, to make decisions from Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II, and upload Dragon Age: Inquisition campaign progress."

Even if I attempt to open my game at the last save, it gets me to the loading screen with the tarot cards (the normal one that pops up while the game loads before you resume), and then closes itself and just stops.

Is this an Origin problem that I've just got to wait out? Is it something I need to fix? I've verified the files and they're fine, my Origin is all logged in, so I'm at a loss.

The "Galactic Readiness" servers for Mass Effect 3 are currently down too. ME3 multiplayer seems to be working, but I didn't test matchmaking.

I was able to fix my issue by loading from an autosave rather than my most recent manual save! Maybe that will work for you, too?

You don't actually need to be connected to the Dragon Age servers to play, unless you want to do multiplayer, import a custom world state from the DA Keep, access the Golden Nug, or some other feature that requires it.

But it's completely optional for playing the single-player game, and there's a setting in the options--accessible in the main menu before you enter the game--where you can turn off "Connect Automatically to the DA Servers."

I've noticed that I get disconnected from the DA servers mid-game on a regular basis, but all that happens is you get a popup that says something like "Your connection to the server has been lost, OK?" which you then dismiss and continue with the game as if nothing had happened.
