just install them all with frosty you dont need the other mod manager anymore. frosty can install pretty much everything these days all compatible too i get very few crashs i have many more mods too.
all i can say is if you dont like dai then it must suck being you and only have 3 games you like in the hole wide world
dai is better then elden ring
- DA:O: Had about 4 spell schools with each 16 spells = 64 spells and on top 16 general passives / spells which makes a whopping ~82 spells / passives.
- DA2: 6 general spell trees with each ~12 spells / passives in it and every hero had a unique tree on top with 12 abilities and the MC even had 3 unique trees which totales to over 100 abilities for mages
- DA:I 4 spell trees each ~12 abitlies and for each hero a special one and the MC 3 to choose from, in total maybe 100 abilities
The biggest difference here is DA:O had 4-5 big AOE spells like fire/ice/lightningstorm and 2-3 AOE stun / cc spells and 3-4 single target stuns (cage, petrify, paralyze). This was already dumped down in DA2 but at least petrify / cage were still there and walking bomb / fireball. In DA:I they removed more or less all CC spells (paralyse 2 sec or freeze 4 sec remained but most bigger enemies are immune anyway) and the AOE spells were tiny / hard to use (firemine with 3 sec activation time, enemies just run out of it and blizzard as big AOe is just too weak).
also im not sure were you are getting your numbers. dai has 32 mage spells +plus 24 unique spells necromancy, riftmage, knight enchanter, then if you include like the 4 inquisitor specific skills then its more. god only knows how many passives you get. look i get dai is hated but there is something in there worth playing i have like 300 hours in the game.
In DA:O and 2 the mage was a good damage dealer (aoe bomber) and stunner (petrify, cage, paralyse) which made fights quite easy. In DA:I they went to far and only one bad blizzard is left and 2-4 sec stuns/freezes with most enemies immune against it. That's why the mage is only there for barrier spam and maybe revive, that's it.
A similiar fate had the warrior. In DA:O the dual wield warrior was most likely the strongest warrior dps, after that 2h and the tank version could finish fights even when the rest of the group was dead. The warrior was already gimped in DA2 and in DA:I he's even more useless while DW/ranged rogue have still quite the high dps output.
In other words all 3 classes had strong damage builds in DA:O while in DA:I only the rogue is left.
