Lack of Healing Spells/Magic
Why is there no actual "heal" magic in this game did the magic users suddenly 'forget' or is there some 'lore" to explain it?

They had a different game design here that many still question. In DA:i its all about damage mitigation spells and skills. It works ok, but you might find yourself fast travelling to your camps often on higher difficulties. I dont remember any lore to explain this but I could be wrong.

You should be asking the the lack of spells/magic in general....

too much time spent "restocking" and not playing IS annoying, it breaks up the exploration/questing the 'Fun' part. :steamsad:. still hearing NPC's talk about getting healed or not by mages makes me wonder why they left such an integral part of a party build out.

The ideia would be barrier using funny that on DAO is basically chug chug chug those health potions

if i recall correctly, most of the time i used potions as as an "emergency" heal most of the time unless my healer was kacked in DAO/DA2

ya as 1st said it was a design choice they wanted to limit potions so dungeons etc... be "harder" so therefore heal also had to go.

Near the beginning of the highlands quests you literally hear the old lady say that mages can heal people.

Yeah it makes no sense. Also the healer at Skyhold telling me we need science and a healthy diet when you can resurrect/revive people with a spirit mage.

s0o00o0 .. is there perhaps a mod for this malady? :steamfacepalm:

the lore is: Bioware wanted you to use healing potions, in multiplayer, that you get from buying lootboxes, in order to get you to buy more lootboxes.

If it sounds like i'm joking, i'm not.

is there a mod manager for this? i have Vortex but it doesn't support DAI...:steamsad:
Levianne Jul 10, 2021 @ 11:41pm
Frosty Mod Manager. Vortex is obsolete and I had to uninstall it eventually. Get rid of Vortex, get Mod Organiser 2 instead (and Frosty Mod Manager for DA:I).
