Fresh install is still loading slow, tried putting it on low graphics and it still loads the same speed.

With my rig, the initial game loading to continue a save game takes between 2-3 mins. Map loading, say from Skyhold to some map location or back to Skyhold, takes between 30-60 seconds. Cut scenes are around 10 seconds or less. I also choose to use my HD rather than my SSD, which may take a little longer to move data in my case.

It's not you Mr Queenie it's just the load times of the game!No way around to reduce the loading times as far as my knowledge goes.I was frustrated as well but i found interest in the tips and lore during loading times so it doesn't bother me as much now.

On the same boat, can't figure out why. Fast travel between areas is worse.

takes me 3 minutes to load the main menu and 5-8 minutes to load my save and i'm only like an hour into the game. i've done everything you'd expect someone to do to try and fix it. for now i just load youtube or something and let it load in the background.
Try this - found from a different thread. Worked for me

"Try disabling 'Share Usage Data' and 'Always log me in' in the options menu under Account. That seemed to fix it for me. Had loading times of minutes on my i7 7700k, 1080ti, SSD's and 32GB RAM, now it's down to 20s. or less. I also launched the game once as administrator, not sure if that did anything but give it a try."

Did someone fix this?

M.2 Did not fix the problem.

I turned off the origin cloud saves, and defaulted the program to admin and it seems to have worked.

I can confirm that "disabled cloud saves (ingame settings)" and "run .exe as admin" (in Windows) did NOT reduce my loading times. They are still multiple minutes long.

Disable them on Origin itself, thats what i did. Right click the game in its library and go to game properties.
