the game won't detect my xbox one controller.

I have my xbox one elite controller connected through usb and it works fine with all of my other games. However this game refuses to detect it. Any advice would be appreciated.

I know. I can't do that because it won't recognize the controller.

For some reason it is working today. no idea why. the setting to change to gamepad was locked before.

Yeah I know. It was. Its all settled now. Works just fine even though i didnt do anything. Guess its just picky.

Glad to see the game decided to cooperate.

When you first change to gamepad in the main menu, it's recommended to close the game and reopen with the controller on (something it has warned me about when I launch with the controller off). I have also seen some chats where people have said they had to reboot their computer to get the controller to work. Don't know why you would have to go that far, but it is an EA game so not surprising.
