Can't find Obsidian - Hinterlands .

I've done most of the quests i have found and i'm sure i have covered most
of Hinterlands, but i haven't gotten access to Redcliff yet.
And i haven't found a single piece of Obsidian.

I looked at google but there wasn't much help to be had,
except bad pictures of locations that was impossible to see.

Are there places where you can get Obsidian reliably ?.

in hinterlands where the dragon fight is, other places dont know; in other areas, there is plenty

I found plent at the dragon "lair". Just couldn't fight the dragon so... smash'n grab.
