Im so sick of constantly grinding

First it was a constant grind to get enough power for the story missions, and now my next story mission is like 4-6 levels above me so im having to grind out XP. Ive done almost every single side quest in the whole game and im still majorly underleveled.

I wish I could just play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game like the first two without having to do all this boring side stuff.

Weird on normal difficulty (as the developers intended) it doesn't seem to be a problem at all, did you set the difficulty higher? If not, make sure to craft armor and weapons because in this game they are pretty powerful.

I dont need better gear, im just underleveled and always running out of power.

Yes, you do need to fight to get the XP. I liked the first game better with the tactical fights. Here they changed it more to action, less thinking more grinding. But I thought it was doable. Also if some areas are too difficult move on to something else. I skipped all dragons at first and did them later on. I think it is a great game but still think the Larian DOS games are a lot better which are open world and have more tactical fights they feel more like a 2020 (or 2030) version of DA1.

For me good armor and equipment and casting 'barrier' on your group and make sure to check their vulnerabilities in the tactical view, worked.

The good thing is the foes don't level up with you, so it becomes easier the more you progress.

... This game is only a grind if you for some reason think you should stay in the Hinterlands.. The game is huge and there are multiple expansive maps with their own quest lines and rewards to follow.. There is so much content in fact, you will out level everything before you can complete it all easily (that is excluding the majority of the mundane tasks as well).
And I do not believe you what so ever in your claim you are majorly underleveled and have completed every side task.. No way. I have had multiple play throughs and I always SKIP over entire areas due to out leveling them before I can complete the one I am on.

this game has grind ?_? WHERE WHERE?! I never found the secret Cheese Guy Undermap before I think they fixed, But something even more elusive would be amazing to see !!!

I am only about 10 hours in ! level 6 and .... bored ! .... This game feels like a second class rip off of Gothic 3 ! ... Fact is i am thinking of deleting this game and playing Gothic 3 again ! Gothic 3 felt so much more advanced than this ! ... EA suck

@vior I like the gothic games too, but to say that Gothic 3 was more advanced than this? Not graphically by any stretch. Other than that this has a great variety of puzzles and things you can do.
