CPU issues, 100% usage and still no fix found

Hi all!

After searching everywhere for a fix for this issue that seemingly affected A LOT of people, I'm still wondering what I can do in order to get my game work well.
I have a i5-9400F, something that should be enough for the game (at least I think). I tried with two different GPUs, my old GTX 1650 and a newly acquired RTX 3060 and despite this change, I still have constant stuttering and low frames.
So far, I've tried:
- creating the user.cfg file (both manually and with that little program that has been uploaded on Github);
- setting the priority in the Task Manager;
- lowering graphics;
- disabling V-Sync;
- disabling motion blur;
- messing with the NVIDIA Control Panel
- playing in borderless windowed mode;
- disabling Origin overlay;
- installing the game in a SSD;
- lowering the resolution

All of this and still I didn't find something that would fix the game.

Some more info: I've bought the game on Steam earlier this autumn when the Deluxe Edition was being sold for nothing; while the general CPU usage is 100%, NFS Heat covers 70-80% of that and I don't understand why as it's the only game who does it; I've tried running the game both with Discord open and without it but the issues are still there

Anyone who could help me out?

you have unlocked CPU ... go to
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options\Edit Plan Settings. + Change advanced power settings + processor power management + maximum processor state + than change 100% to 99%

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options\Edit Plan Settings. + Change advanced power settings + processor power management + maximum processor state + than change 100% to 99%

Unfortunately, this didn't work as I've noticed no change

Try to close programs that are running in the background don't use gaming records for example

Use this fix. It worked for me on 3 different systems. It doesn't remedy all the problems, but it'll make the game run a tad bit better.

Yeah, I used that one as well already, like I stated in the post

I could try again, but I don't think it will work

I see. I had crazy high usage in Payback as well. I used RivaTuner to force the game to run at 59 fps.

All of these solutions won't fully solve the problem anyway. The games are poorly optimized tbh.

How many processors do you have? Are you sure it is set to use them all? Have you tried to use half of them instead? Are you using processor to render graphics or your gpu's?

i have i5 9600k 3.70 GHz Max Turbo Frequency 4.60 GHz
wen I locked cpu on 3.7 it's. run game with 80% but wen I unlock the speed to 4.6 its running the game with 100% same time the game will crash with that speed

I thought you said you created a user.cfg but did you adjust the values to match your hardware? iN POST #8 Did you follow all the instructions it gives? Does your nvidia settings for the game have graphics set to render by cpu, or gpu?

bought this game about 2 months ago, it ran great until about 3 days ago. with no changes to my system it randomly started the high CPU usage, unnoticeable for the most part initially. I was having some windows issues so I fresh installed, now it launches with the EA launcher instead of the origin launcher it used before and stutters so bad its unplayable.
my specs are far beyond recommended, 10900 and rx6650 xt 32gb ram.
Up until the stuttering started a couple days ago I was able to play the game at ultra settings 150 fps average on my gaming monitor while also streaming 4k videos to my TV without CPU over 60%, I tried the GitHub fix with no success either. I'll either re-install game and try or just uninstall, I already completed everything but the crew unlocked car

Have you tried uninstalling EA App and reinstalling Origin?

Not sure if you fixed the issue but i'm running a bottleneck setup and locking max fps to 60 in nvidia control panel helps with the high cpu usage for me

OP, what monitor are you playing on? Does it support Dolby Vision?
