Stuck on ea launcher "downloading stuff"

I just tried to run this game on steam deck and not only if required like 60GB download but after starting the game it's not yet playable. Currently I am waiting for the ea launcher to Install rest of the game. The problem is that the screen literally only says "downloading stuff". It doesn't say how much stuff do I need to download or what is the current download speed. So I waited for like an hour and got to around 75% but the progress bar is not advancing anymore and I have no way to tell if it's stuck or still downloading. What can I do about that?
