So I am trying this how do I know how to connect or it fixes it?
Back in 2000 when the NFS Porsche has been released... it had and IT STILL SUPPORTS ALL KIND OF CONTROLLERS AND STEERING WHEELS! (not joking)
And on top of that: all key and button is remap-able in the game. No trickery needed.
So here we are 23 years later... and game industry gone B*ch unfortunately. User desires are secondary. SELLS and ADVERTISEMENTS are more important then a well built, convenient controller option menu. Even if that pulls down big times of the overall experience, and the majority of people gets fed up with it reasonably quickly.
Still Logitech sold a few of the G-whatever racing wheel (The only one that is supported by the game) because of it. So there you go.... you will do what you been told to do... and not what is convenient to you.... or simply just don't play it.... THAT IS EA RECENT PHILOSOPHY!
My advice is to go back some decades and pick up a game where they still made how they meant to be made.
Well, this is my opinion.
