is the online/ multiplayer mode good in heat?

hey guys so i m thinking of buying heat as it on sale rn
i m kinda more shifted towards multiplayer mode
so may i ask after 2 years do we get enough people to race with online or it's just a ghost town?

p.S- don't compare this with unbound.Ik unbound have good multiplayer but it's kinda cost more 2 times what heat is rn

Heat - 9,895
Unbound - 4.169
It's online only in steam, also there should be more players from xbox gamepass and ea client. Also, it's total online single player + mutiplayer. But 10,000 players - it's very good.

I bought today heat too, and was disappointed with online mode. You have only 16 players on map and can play only with them. They all just riding on map, when i trying invite them to play race, only 1 person accept, but he has better car then me (looks like game don't care that players have different cars). I'm looking for racing pals if anyone of you is interested ? No problem getting a car that matches your level to have fair races :D

Online mode is good for goofing around in a lobby full of modded cheaters that you won't beat in a race because they have tiny pp syndrome.
