GAME DOESNT LUNCH !

when i hit PLAY... my name turns green "playing NFS HEAT"
then origin pops up, pops down, like normal... like the game is booting up
but suddenly without Any Errors.. my name goes back to Blue, like there is no game running :)

Try this:

To get NFS Heat running on PC for those that have Dolby Vision / HDR issues (black screen) is to edit the NFS Heat config file located in

PC\Documents\Need for Speed Heat\settings

Edit the PROFILEOPTIONS_profile file using notepad or another text editor.

Change the HDR setting from 1 to 0 so it looks like this:

GstRender.HDRMode 0

Use task manager to End task Origin entirely, start on Steam again. Or go to NFS Heat steam store, it say play for free in 3 days, click play

Same for me...i was playing the game earlier this day without any problem, and now it does not launch anymore for no reason.

i found a solution after some Trial and Error:
make the game's .exe to RUN as admin, and make it compatible for Win 7
then Close Origin completly from taskmanager (and its detail tab)
then RUN the game throu .EXE file !!!!
Dont use steam or Origin's game library :l
just click on .exe
(u must close origin COMPLTLY every time before u click on that .exe)

Just had the same problem, couldn't get it to launch. Then I tried disabling my VPN, and it launched correctly. Must be something with the anti-cheat.

Got it (for 3.5 euro) but uninstalled after 2 hours of misery. I am not prepared to -eacht time- change my video driver and disable HDR / Dolby Vision. Also ... why still Origin launcher for a, now, 3 EURO game !? IMHO it is not worth the 3 EURO for people that have a Dolby Vision monitor (like an LG OLED) ... IMHO it simply is not worth hours of your life to get it working in SDR. But YMMV of course.

u dont HAVE to do this... i believe my case was the worst :D
coudlnt loging origin the first day,,, and 2nd day it logged, couldnt RUN the game...

@Mammat. Maybe not, but to me it is not worth it. Why couldn't EA Devs fix the HDR issues ... they had 3 years to get it done by now !?

I've also noticed it's an issue with Origin not running before the game is launched. For whatever reason Origin simply needs to be running before the game is launched through Steam. Don't know why it's that particular but it fixed it for me.

i said earlier :D
1. quit Origin compltly throu taskbar (everytime before launching)
to to the detail tab... u must see 3 origin related thing together, kill em all EVERYTIME before running
2. make ur game compatible as win 7 and run as admin (right click and properties... from its main .exe in its Folder)
3. run the game thro .exe ONLY... u will see origin pops up, and ur steam boots the game like normal
enjoy


(lemme know if u didnt make it compatible for windows 7 and it still works,, i didnt check that. i use VPN as well due to my country's full internet lock down these 10 days (Iran))
