Dolby Vision fix(workaround)
Download Custom Resolution Utility. Check at the bottom of the program for Extension blocks. Edit CTA-861 extension block AKA click on it and click edit. In the Data blocks you'll find a load of nifty stuff your monitor is capable of and there you will see dolby vision. Delete it and press OK. You'll need to do a restart after your done. You can revert back to the defaults if you want. It works a charm on my LG UHD tv. Stupid dolby. Thanx to Junglist724 for figuring it out.

I didn't see any Dolby Vision to uncheck? Just loads of deep color formats and such but nothing named Dolby Vision.

Maybe your screen doesn't have dolby vision but I take it you have the above mentioned problem?

It's a 4k 48" LG C1 OLED TV (2021) which supports Dolby Vision.
Game launches with a black screen as long as I don't use the YCbCr420 8-bit workaround.

Update: I just updated CRU from 1.4.1 to 1.5.1 and now there is a Dolby Video option shown which the older CRU version did not show. Deleting this option should fix the black screen now. This information might be important to others, update your CRU.

Update 2: Tested and works, no Black Screen and HDR HGiG actually works.

Works perfectly. Thank you, good sir.

Thanks for sharing this trick, it worked for me!
It wasn't exactly easy. So I wrote this tutorial[powrusr.com] which describes the same solution, tailored for those who aren't tech-savvy. Cheers!

Thanks to OP and Junglist!

I did this thread a long time ago but I think you can reset the defaults. Or maybe an uninstall will work if you can't reset which im sure you can. Best of luck

Hey! You can add Dolby Vision back after removing it through Custom Resolution Utility by running the "reset-all" program in the CRU folder, followed by the "restart" program in the same folder. That worked for me.
