Going off everything I've seen about it, amazingly no. It was actually really big news when it was announced that NFS Heat wouldn't have lootboxes and microtransactions. Polygon even published a semi-infamous article explaining that the game not having microtransactions might be a bad thing, arguing that the lack of microtransactions and loot boxes indicates a lack of faith in the NFS brand courtesy of EA.
