Cops too damn annoying

I've been busted at least 10 times now, only at level 15. I get into 3 races at most before I get worried and have to end the night because level 2 is already a pain in the neck with the charger cop cars. Losing all the rep and even a percentage of earnings is extremely annoying.

These cops are stupid. Most Wanted system was the best, when you simply couldn't reach highest heat ranks until you're progress the story to the point where you have competitive car, and where your car didn't take any damage. Damage is the most stupidest thing. They just cruise pass me when I'm doing 280 km/h and slam the s out of my car.
Honestly, for ten or so years this is the first time I want just to download some trainer and disable this bs damage.
It's not fun, it's simply annoyng. Fun was back in NFS: MW. Another great example of how to turn overall good game to mediocre with one stupid gameplay decision.

i remember police rhinos in NFS carbon hitting you frontally at maxed Heat making your car to spin around many times but at least your car was undamaged , car was upside down but it was reseted automatically and you could continue the chasing withour busting you...fun old times...

I think the cops are no big deal personally. Im level 35 now and Ive only been busted twice, I usually can avoid the cops, just slow down in the race and let the cops pass, drop to 3rd place, then get back to 1st (hopefully), sometimes take 2nd, or 3rd and run the race again. hopefully your experience gets better. good luck!

This is the important topic. Idiotic EA abandoned the game with such issues like cops. The spawning of the cops and the behaviours are really annoying. For example last time the game spawned a cop next to the garage when i had the ultimate parts with me. After that the cops pushed me into a river and when i respawned i was busted. I thought i will smash the comp.

I am and old fan of NFS from the beginning but i am done after so many years. EA went to a very fool direction wich is about the profit and not the players. The community dont want an other NFS now when we have HEAT with many potential. It just need some fix but EA decided to earn more money with little work (Steam and cross play). I am really disappointed.

I think their behavior is quite ok. They do what cops supposed to do. But all this stuff is unbalanced. You can reach heat level 3 in no time, and if you're just trying to lose the cops in some 100-200lvl wallmart scooter, you're screwed. Just like that white girl from that meme. If you have 350+ F-18, it's not even a challenge. You simply drive and they kill themselves trying to chase you.

IIRC driving into the water during an active chase counts towards the car damage. You maybe able to do it for once or twice, but if you don't have the repair kit with you then you're just one ram away from being busted.

There is no escaping, cops are WAY to powerful period. Just ruins the game completely.

The worst part with the cops is that they ram you in the sides , your car takes multiple turns,losing control and they finally trap you in the grass out of the road or in an offroad spot of the map and you can't get away... plus ..that your car takes a lot of damage from ramming and you 're getting frustrated trying to reach a gas station...good luck with that..

just don't overextend and it's easy.
don't get above heat level 2/3.
