logitech g29 not working anymore

i played 1 night and i dit ALT + TAP and wend back to the game and my logitech g29 dont work anymore but on all my ather games it still works

problem is with Windows 10. The only way to fix it, is clear Windows installation, then I connected the G29, installed the drivers, and after that I installed firewall/AV. I made couple test on windows 10 and if you install crew 2 first for example and then G29 with drivers it is not working 4/5 installations. I run same for the other games,why it is like that? no idea.

The only solution is to install clean windows 10

The solution is to reinstall the GHUB, it worked for me, NFS heat has detected the G29. And I dont have Steam version, only Origin one!

I play NFS Heat the first time and the game detect my wheel FANATEC but when exit the game and return in other moment, the game dont detect again FANATEC.

I did everything to do.

Re-installed Fanatec Drivers....

Re_Installed Origin...

Re-Installed all the Game NFS Heat

and now, nothing.

Hi everyone, I might be able to help some of you who used to use g29 with nfs heat in the past but later, after some updates from B. Gates or some other useless ♥♥♥♥ otherwise served by Microsoft found the wheel did not appear or was not recognized by the game no matter which one of the bazillion solutions on the net you had applied. I happened upon a solution by chance. Here it is: I thought that maybe some files were missing which prevented the game from seeing the wheel as being present so I tried to log into administrator even tho my own account had administrator status and permissions. Guess what, having logged as strictly 'administrator' with the very same account name, namely 'administrator' I started the game and the wheel finally worked as before :))))))) thank Heavens :)

Hi Yeah I have got the same damn problem, ATS and other games with my wheel work fine, NFS heat is only game that does not see my wheel. Same issue as everybody else.

Load into game and shows Xbox controller, Tried some other suggestion but still wont work.
- un installed and did fresh install of Logitech G hub,
Still show xbox controller and D-pad and buttons do not work.
- change steam controller setting, Unchecked mark. still shows xbox controlls
- Tried changing Ps4
Both still shows XBOX control in game.

Just bought this today for $5.00 cnd and cant even play it. The only thing different is (lol) This installed and run fine under windows 7. I uselly dual boot win 7/win 10 but I was trying/testing the un-officially steam os (also known HaloISO) on spare SDD. So at moment got Win7/Steam os. Might have nuke my steam os and format and try fresh install of windows 10. But I am expecting I prob have same damn error and NFS:Heat will prob show stupid xbox controller in game.. Prob cus the Devs we're TOO damn lazy to give users an option on which controller they wish to use.

May end up refunding this POS, go back playing on Ps5.

I also had issues with my G29. Main issue was that the game was listening to the actual steering wheel input, but not the pedals. Causing the wheels to turn, but the car not actually moving forward + not being able to properly navigate almost all menus (and the map)
Of course I got it working with X360ce and all those other apps, but the experience with them is quite ♥♥♥♥.

I fixed it by:
Going to steam settings > controller (section) > and set "PlayStation Controller Support" to "Not Enabled".

It was set at "Enabled in games without support" but just go ahead disable it completely.
Someone somewhere on reddit suggested selecting "combine pedals" in the GHUB settings and that *kinda* fixed the navigation on menus but it was never a complete solution for me and wasn't necessary after I disabled playstation controller support.

I also disabled "Enable Steam Input for generic controller" although I haven't been able to tell if that actually made a difference.
