I had enough and really now they can keep pushing those stupid kits but I had enough so really this is the end of the line. sims is officially close for me. I will play what I got if I play as the game is truly boring to be fair. so I will simply play other games. best of luck EA I can see plenty will do the same.
We could start a consulting agency to consult other Sims what jobs they should do, what clothes they should wear and maybe financing their creative projects in their free time to be independent.
I would like to experience that with real english voice acting.
The kitchen kit could give us the ability to make tea with different flavors to change player and non-player Sim moods.
But please offer a reasonable priced bundle for older DLCs.
I think its a smart choice the developers use AI for InZOI, they should fully focus on that.
why are you encouraging an already money hungry company that makes billions to pay people less and make more? 😭 wtf
What soul is in Sims 4, its Simmerish, how could real conversations be more soulless than Simmerish?
I dont think InZOI is voiced, so voice actors wouldnt loose jobs, While EA uses real voice actors for Simmerish, I would not be against using real voice actors for real conversations. Also voice actors can give their consent to have their voice cloned by AI and used in further dialogues. So a compromise could be found.
AI is already supporting programmers for years and current AI is way too faulty to be a threat for programming jobs.
You could argue AI took away some artist jobs of InZOI, but even that is questionable as the object patterns could have otherwise been bought out of the asset marketplace of Unreal Engine 5, on which the game runs on. So likely no job losses at InZOIs company would happen with generative AI.
Its possible that AI could replace artists at EA/Maxis with more representative and attractive artworks and characters like in videos, thumbnails or in-game portraits and clothings.
But I would argue that this would be a good thing as the artists at EA are currently very terribly misrepresenting their playbases by political agendas.
I would encourage the company behind publishing InZOI to use generative AI to give me a more immersive experience as I currently am not interested in the game only because of lack of voice over or the modding scene Sims 4 has. Without the Mods I would have not bought Sims 4 and would not plan to buy its DLCs at some point.
I think both games play terrible and are developed much under their potentials.
With generative AI for voice over and dialogues for example we could have the first really immersive life simulation. I think that is an exciting outlook and hope a company will create such a highly competitive product to progress the genre into a new era.
...how are AI voices going to be more immersive for you?! Are you AI?
