The exact reason why we need preteens added to basegame from a free update instead of a patreon mod that will cost money as the only way to get them currently and may not even always work as intended such as not getting middle school homework for example due to the mod being buggy. If the teens look like they are too old to be in high school then it is about time EA thinks about getting preteens added into basegame as well in addition to teens and children. It appears to me that most people are saying that the teens look like they are too old or they want an expansion pack for elementary school with complaints about these things being more common than the demand for preteen being added into basegame. Their should be a high demand for basegame preteens on The Sims 4 just like their was for toddlers. EA adding preteens late to The Sims 4 basegame would also be better than never as well, because if they do then chances are more likely they would be included for The Sims 5 as well if they are added to The Sims 4.
