The majority of dlc packs will never be free. It is just basically EA's way of saying "You can get barebones for free on The Sims 4 from now on starting on October 18th, but if you want more interesting and exciting content then spend at least some money on bundles and/or individual packs" or perhaps but I hope it never happens as another way of saying "Starting on October 18th anyone can get basegame for free but you will need to be subscribed if you want new additional content" despite the fact the The Sims 4 is only single player instead of multiplayer (unless if using a multiplayer mod). Regardless of what happens as a consequence of October 18th I am under the impression that EA is still planning on making The Sims 5 become official a few more years (2025 or perhaps late 2024 after Sims 4 10th anniversary from September?) down the road.

with this, and creamapi, you can keep your soul intact AND play all the dlcs. fantastic

That is illegal. For me it is not so much the costs of DLC that concerns me the most, but the requirement for subscriptions. I would never want The Sims 4 to ever add subscriptions into the game, because that could potentially ruin the game for me as well at the same time. I have had a bad experience with being subscribed to Star Wars The Old Republic for example that is also made and owned by EA where I had a difficult time with trying to subscribe again after I had lost my subscription combined with the fact that actual gameplay was crashing too much even if the internet connection to this multiplayer game was working fine for me.

This is a good way to earn more money.. More people will be able to test the first game and than.. When they will have it, they will start to check for making it better with all the dlcs.

Atleast i know where to get them way more cheaper.. Thank for the 6.99$ atleast they gives us something.. (Except for those who has already buy both main game and that dlc...)

The new people who play this game, don't know what we know. If you are a new simmer don't buy the new DLCs, always buy when is out on sale. This game is full of bugs, never waste your money in this dlcs always read the opinions of the people. The developers of this are Are Trash, EA is Trash.
