The Sims™ 4

The update fixed the Family tree...
... so we can see if a sim's parents were married or not?
I didn't expect that from EA, but I guess it's for their Royalty DLC.

I would have thought from CAS you could select the family relations you can choose, including adopted, but i see no such thing. Looks like it has to be done in game. MCCC is powerful but it can be unreliable on occasion, that includes creating and removing relations between sims.

i don't know why EA decided to rename cousin to "cousin's child", that makes no sense at all when it should be marked clearly as "first cousin" or "second cousin" instead.

i also don't know why when you have a family tree, it shows members not part of that family tree even if they are related through the parent I've noticed some family members showing on the extended part of the tree that are actually of no relation at all to that part of the family. i wish there were a way to hide that part of the family tree if you don't want to see it.

I bet if i interconnect everyone of my 600+ sims to each other in some way the family tree would be massive and a great majority of them are of no relation at all, and yet they are included, it's what i mean by having the ability to hide a family connection you don't want to see and suddenly every other sim no from the family is not showing and you can focus on your family tree.

I guess we will see what EA mess up when that expac drops.
No you can't even choose Grandparent or Aunt or Uncle. Really sucks when you are having children that have lost parents if you want them to be with grandparents you can't choose that nothing but a parent.
i adopted two sims to an unmarried sim who wanted childred and it's doing what it did before the update, it consider these children as directly connected and related to the parent instead of being seen as adopted, which is not what i was aiming for, so that didn't work.

See what happens after the expac drops and if i can muster up the interest to consider it...

I know. You can't do the Peter Parker story with Aunt May and Uncle Ben. How are we to do the Superhero DLC?
Oh, wait... there is no Superhero DLC...

At least when it comes to adoption it should not be that hard to remember if the sim was adopted. For example, it should be easy to remember two white parents adopting a black sim because of the clear distinctions between them where their child is not supposed to look closely related to the parents.

I did see this evening something I had not seen before a box to check for adoption? I have to wonder if I have just been blind to it or is that new?
DO you ever level up a sim and save it? I do that. Leveling up each time is kinda boring.
Anyway, new game, started a sim from scratch. Leveled up. Time to add some family. Tried to add a pre-played sim to my household.
She insisted on being "Aunt" to the sim I made new.
I couldn't remove the Aunt relation. I Used MCCC to delete all relations. Nope. Still Aunt. The funny thing was she wasn't aunt to the target sim's siblings, just this ONE sim.
Only way to fix it I found was to make a new blank sim, and start using MCCC to copy everything after using cheats to make the blank sim a grand master vampire and add points. Aunt Batty has 3 outfits in every category, I spent a lot of time crafting and leveling this sim. (she is actually a clone made with the clone machine)

Anyone know how to copy all the outfits from one sim to another?
MCCC can do it but only one outfit at a time.
