Eight free packs
Just to help people keep track of how many packs have been made free at one point or permanently it now adds up to eight. These include Backyard Stuff (some people may not like this stuff pack and makes sense as to why it is free), My Pet Stuff (I still do not like it overall even though I got it for free), Jungle Adventures (going to be the only free gamepack?), Luxury Party (makes sense because it was the first stuff pack), Holiday Celebration (permanently free), Romantic Garden Stuff, Desert Luxe, and Fashion Street. I am predicting the next stuff packs to eventually become free at some point for a limited time also include at the very least Perfect Patio, Cool Kitchen, Spooky, and Movie Hangout. Possibly Kid's Room and Toddler as well which I am not certain of this yet, but would add up to 10 free stuff packs where you would be saving 100 U.S dollars total on only just stuff packs alone. As for kit packs and gamepacks I am really not certain which ones will eventually become free or even when if more were to be added to this list, but Dine Out might make sense for this when it comes to another gamepack becoming free for a limited time only.

Free packs usually appear to be those DLC that 90%+ of the community hates.
Like the Pets Stuff pack etc. For Rent EP hasn't even been out for half a year. Yet it's already discounted again. This time at a steeper 25% v. the 10%? a month or so earlier. Even with the discounts, the recent reviews for Simmers who bothered to give one are mostly negative.

So my prediction? For Rent and the Menswear SP will be either free for limited time or permanently free by Christmas this year. Because I don't see EA showing any proficiency in its ability to address and adequately FIX each patch they constantly pushout to break Simmer's games.

Actually, I like most of these stuff packs at least somewhat (although, backyard stuff, toddlers, perfect patio, spooky, and cool kitchen are all "meh" overall meaning I do not dislike them contrary to My First Pet Stuff, but could be easily skipped as well at the same time if not free and I would rank toddlers actually at the very bottom of "meh" for stuff packs as well mainly because I am more interested in child than toddler and infant lifestages on The SIms 4) while Luxury Party I would rank it number 1 from Meh category for stuff packs (meaning I like it more than My Pet Stuff, Backyard stuff, toddlers, perfect patio, spooky, and cool kitchen, but only for CaS) and especially Jungle Adventures.

I did not miss any of them, because I frequently play The Sims 4, watch youtube videos, and use Steam. The first one on this list to be free was Desert Luxe, but at the time I was unaware that EA planned on doing this more often and not just with this kit pack. However, considering how many dlc packs The Sims 4 has perhaps it should not be considered surprising that at least some of the stuff packs are eventually going to be free even if for a limited time only. The only thing I am not certain about yet is if these stuff packs (such as Backyard for example and others being made free more than once) are going to be made free more than once. It is however worth mentioning most of them I already owned before they became free, except for My First Pet and Desert Luxe (although, for Desert Luxe I actually got this twice because my original account on Steam was hacked and I had to start a new account unfortunately because apparently you cannot trust everyone that you become friends with on Steam). While I am not surprised about stuff packs becoming free, I would be even more surprised if more gamepacks (is Jungle Adventures going to be the only one?), kit packs (why would anyone want Modern Menswear for example that looks like it has stuff that was made for female and gay male sims even if made free and even if two from the past were made free and not just one?), and especially expansion packs (because they make EA the most money overall despite them having the most bugs) were to be made free at some point.

Simple. Go to the TS4 page and put all the most disliked/hated (thumbs down) DLC packs on your wish list. Be sure to add the best of the most disliked/hated are DLC like Bantu, For Rent, the Menswear SP etc. Then set your Steam account permission to get email and other notifications whenever a Steam sale affects stuff on your wishlist

Then check in weekly to see what publisher and/or seasonal sales Steam is having. There's a big EA publisher one still going on right now btw. I believe this EA sale promo ends 10am or so on Mar 21st next week.

So now is the time to get TS4 DLC. Partially due to fan base rebellion on the latest broken hot fixes/updates. Which managed to even worse break the already broken/buggy hot mess of recent EPs/SPs EA managed to shi8te out since Christmas.

So DLC like For Rent EP is now going for a whopping 25% off Lol. And a lot of TS4 DLC going anywhere from 40% to 60% this sale promotion.

Also now is the time to grab as much TS3 DLC possible, since ALL TS3 DLC is 60% off until next week.
