If you are more into farm life and a rural setting, then you can't go wrong with Horse Ranch. Also, if you're into the whole raising pets thing, Cats & Dogs and Cottage Living are also good packs.
If you like an island setting with cool, refreshing waters to dive into, a sunny, cheerful atmosphere, then you should give Island Living a shot.

Yes, I love the rustic country stuff! I didn't know the Island living wasn't very good.
Not exactly "Into the Future Game play" is it? Not like building plumbots to loot the cemetery catacombs for genie lamps, meeting your decedents, changing the timeline and all that.
I just wish EA would start pirating the ideas from Maxis.
