Is the star wars dlc any good?
So i have enough in my account for the star-wars dlc. Would you recommend it? Why? why not? Or is there a way better dlc for adventures and action?

Star Wars works best if you want to add more story content into your gameplay and you love Star Wars, but the vacation world itself is not really all that fun either where it eventually becomes repetitive and less fun overtime. Even though I enjoy this gamepack that may be underrated and definitely better than My Wedding Stories gamepack I would only give it a five out of ten. There is a lot more to this pack than only just going to visit Batuu such as using Star Wars items from build mode, has some Star Wars aspirations, and making more Star Wars characters from CaS than without this pack, but you can not actually use the force (which the closest thing to that is actually spell-casting from a different gamepack), lightsabers can not actually be used for real fighting (unless if maybe using the extreme violence mod), usefulness of droids from this pack is very limited outside of Batuu, and as mentioned earlier the vacation world eventually becomes repetitive and less fun overtime. It is not one of the first dlc packs that I would recommend getting, but if you really love playing The Sims 4, already have lots of dlc (especially expansion packs besides maybe high school years/discover university, parenthood gamepack even though it does not add a new world, and at least most of the stuff packs) in your game, and/or really love Star Wars then I would recommend this pack.

The consensus from the Youtube simmers seems to be that it would have worked best as a stand-alone project similar to The Sims Medieval as it feels strangely disconnected to everything else in the game, even limiting where and how the build items can be used.

Just watching that makes me feel a mod is needed just to make it not so limiting while in Batuu.

Batuu is basically supposed to represent a Disney park such Disneyland or Disney World. As I had mentioned earlier there are many downsides to this pack. I do not regret getting Journey to Batuu, but I also own lots of dlc (including all expansion packs including even High School Years and Discover University, almost all stuff packs except for pets, most of the gamepacks except for three, and even some kit packs) as well at the same time. If the cost of packs is an issue for you and/or do not have a lot dlc already in your game then I would recommend maybe getting something else instead that might be more worth getting than this gamepack. However, since you mentioned adventure and action number 1 do not expect them to be as good as the World Adventures expansion pack from The Sims 3 because of all worlds on The Sims 4 being closed worlds and number 2 other packs similar to this on The SIms 4 are Outdoor Retreat and Jungle Adventure (which in my personal opinion might be underrated as a game pack for Jungle Adventure).

It's alright, but definitely could be better.

BTW, if you're a rotational player, I recommend getting this mod: https://sems-own-world.de/en/lichtschwert-fix/

Lightsabers are marked as collectibles, so they effectively don't exist in NPC inventories. You'll need this mod to have lightsaber duels between households.
