uninstall expansion pack sims 4

I purchased an expansion pack, requested a refund and while the refund has processed, the expansion is still attached to my game. I'd like to give the expansion another shot but worry about repercussions of doing so without uninstalling and purchasing it again. EA was of no help and told me to come here to uninstall it.

In your steam library, select Sims 4, click the gear, select properties->DLC and unselect the DLC,... i guess
or you could buy it again... not sure what your trying to do.

Since you no longer have it in your account and are afraid that something will happen because it still works, I recommend doing what the guy in the message above said and then removing it from your Steam library since it was refunded.

I think they are wanting to give the DLC another shot but don't want to get in trouble should they try since it has not been removed from their account yet. I am not sure if it will even play but I guess you could try. You might want to do so in a new game in case it did not work or corrupts something . That way you can just delete new save and not loose anything.
When they refunded for me the DLC was gone within 24 hours so not sure why yours is not. But if they have refunded you and it is still there I am not sure why other than glitch or oversight.

I am not sure if the 2 hours "testing" time resets when re-purchasing it, if that is what you are asking.
If you keep refunding and re-purchasing the same title, Valve might not enjoy it. If that's what you want to know.
