EA needs to focus less on these alternative options and more about getting back to basics, something they are entirely unwilling to even consider any more.
Yup. I've been saying for a long time they need to cast a wider net target audience. They'd rather shun traditional families and values though, while claiming they're being inclusive.🙄
It's literally their own faut.
InZOI will most likely take over the "The Sims" market because it looks better than The Sims 4 but mostly importantly, there is no DEI. Women actually look attractive and men are masculine as they should be. And that alone is going to sell more than The Sims 4.

Sometimes a company with multiple products will shift investment from a weak product to a stronger one. I didn't see them mention weak sales of Sims that would have sparked the fall (looks like 17% not 7%).
Maybe. At least for people with good computers. inZoi is made in UE5 which requires a somewhat higher end PC while the Sims 4 can still run good on lower end PC's.
I'll definitely be checking it out though. I'm facinated with NVIDIA's AI that's going to be in the game. It's kind of mind blowing and it should make the Zoi's more unpredictable.
Oh, and CARS! 😃
For the record, I don't have anything against DEI or AI, but some people have very strong feelings about those subjects and might not buy, if one or both are included in any form.
EDIT: And then there was supposed to be this one Sims clone which would never have a single paid DLC. It was unclear to me if it's gonna have only free DLCs or no DLCs at all. What was that about?
Not sure why anyone would be against this AI.

Also the AI stuff is actually a good thing. Unlike in Sims 4, the npc's in inZOI will actually schedule their daily lives in the simulation (Breakfast, work, lunch, dating, marriage, starting a family, etc) while you, the player can focus on your character.
No. As long as the cult following this game has keeps blindly shelling out money for broken stuff, they have no need to ever move on to a new game.
Generally speaking; after they destroyed my favorite Dragon Age/Mass Effect franchise, I am not sure if I will ever purchase a product from them again.
Good point
I do like what I see so far with Inzoi.. I do have to wonder about the actual play in regards to not just the development and such of the character but in the build and decorating aspect of the game as a whole.
I think this way for those that are not only creative in building families and lives for them but for those that love to build and decorate and create ranches, farms and such. There are many that play Sims 4 that don't actually play but just build and like my self I am getting to the point of creating neighborhoods or shopping/play/fun places ..I have not seen much on those types of things so far. The character creation is a big thing and so far I like that but will I be able to do other things that don't involve just socializing and looking good? If so will it be as realistic as the character?
This is something that the bug infested Sims 4 does offer. The characters don't look real and many movements are stiff and unrealistic but there is a side to it that many of us will be looking at more than just a human like character.
