If you have your save files, including several previous versions of it, you should be able to recover from a previous save if it's corruption to the main save. If it's an incompatibility then you are sunk. If it's a mod issue, you'll need to remember what mods you had installed last, all of them, and install them all and try loading your save again.
If you have saved your households and lots, those would be found in the tray folder, so if you copied that along with the saves back when you last played, you only need to copy the tray folder back and you have your households and lots you built even if the save was lost. If you don't have that and your save is a mess, i'm afraid you'll just have to start over.
Update your saves and tray folder regularly as you feel and keep them safe on an usb. Mods are a different issue, i'd suggest keeping a copy of those. You are relying on that modder to bring out new versions to keep them compatible with the latest update, but there could be one or two modders who might stop working on their mods and up and leave, so having a version of that now expired mod might be helpful at first. unfortunately however some mods can be so horribly outdated they won't register with the game as being there, or could crash the game on loading repeatedly until removed.
Anyway. I hope you have copied what you could from the tray folder back then, at least not all your efforts are lost, even if you saves are.
Thanks for taking time to answer that's very kind.
I'm not using mods, I'm a newbie in the world of Sims ^^"
I didn't saved the tray folder, didn't knew it was important, for me only saves were.
Now I know, I will not make same mistake twice ^^"
Have a nice day :)
I think I'll just restart a new game, my Sim didn't made a great career xD
