A Sims like open world game published by KRAFTON the peopel behind PUBG. The game looks like a modern version of sims 3 and i am more interested in this game, than to have a sims 5.
EA and maxis have done sims 4 into a soul-less experiece, its only fetch quest and more fetch quest, nothing is really a hard to archive thing, everything is easy mode. I wish back the times of sims 3 where i must skill my sims to archive real goals, like dating a super star or build the best backyard car. Buy all the shops in the city to get passive income and can stay home. Where i can go shoping and driving my car or really go on adventure.
I have high hopes for inZOI but not for Sims4 or Sims5 anymore.
Don’t forget that InZOI will start with Early Access; InZOI will still have problems but if they do it good and listen to the community, they can get big, as long Krafton doesn’t try to monetize to get the maximal profit out.
Last video I watched about this EA was trying to pretend The Sims 4 can also be The Sims 5 at the same, but that is either a lie or if they are telling the truth that means this series will be abandoned once EA is finished with milking players from The Sims 4. If it is the former instead of the latter where EA lied to us then expect the series to continue with The SIms 5 eventually at some point. There is no guarantee there will not be a game called The Sims 5 after Project Rene even if Project Rene proves to be a financial success instead of a failure.
Hard for me to imagine a future Sims game being monetized more than The Sims 4 and especially Project Rene, but it just seems like anything is possible with EA at this point. Do they actually care about us players as customers to this game or only just the money where money is more important to them than us? That is the important question we all need to be asking at this point, but opinions about this vary. On the one hand they have given us free packs before and up to 60% discounts on expansion packs, but on the other hand both examples I mentioned are rare with the former (free packs) being more rare than the latter (60% discounts)
There's also several competitors coming out soon so, probably another good reason to give the Sims 4 big updates/overhauls as making a new game from the ground up may not be as financially beneficial.

I still think that The Sims 4 will eventually be abandoned or at least partially by EA, but if there is never going to be a game called The SIms 5 that means that means the Sims series will have ended. It is unrealistic to expect The Sims 4 to make dlc forever. Making dlc for a long time is realistic, but not forever.
Also, EA might even stop making expansion packs, gamepacks, and stuff packs sooner with The SIms 4 than what some people might think such as for example when Project Rene officially comes out despite it not being The SIms 5. Meaning they will look for other ways to make more money from The SIms 4 besides making more new dlc and even kit packs will probably stop being made eventually at some point after EA stops making more expansion packs, gamepacks, and stuff packs. I suspect part of the reason why EA rarely makes stuff packs (only made once a year) and gamepacks (have not made any since 2022) anymore is because I think that eventually at some point EA is going to permanently stop making more stuff packs and gamepacks in addition to expansion packs with The SIms 4.
Yeah, I think the same. Same cow, different milking technique.
I would have to agree, but the complete abandonment of not making dlc anymore with The Sims 4 means that EA will have abandoned this game at least partially even if looking for other ways to make money besides dlc. The partial abandonment of The Sims 4 starts with not making anymore expansion packs, gamepacks, and stuff packs and eventually (because I am assuming that kit packs will be made longer than bigger dlc packs) will most likely include not making anymore kit packs as well. It also makes sense that EA will eventually stop making dlc with The SIms 4, because they will want people to be interested in playing there other new game currently called Project Rene where it is hard for me to imagine Project Rene not being monetized more than The SIms 4.
