Lead singer of a band?

Yeah i have base game and wondering if i can become a lead singer of a band? What path do i go down?

me either though i do like the showtime pack which oddly enough has katy perry in sim form on the limited edition box yet doesnt actually include her in the game which i always found odd

i only wanted to be band singer cause i have the grunge revival kit and watched to create The Sims version of Nirvana since i LOVE grunge music.

Aside from TS3 which may or may not work correctly, in TS4 the only way to really do something like that is through modifications as there is no means to do this as it currently stands in TS4. It's possible the next pack might have this as an option but i doubt it, especially when EA wants to recycle content and make more money off it. I Guess you'll find out, otherwise find a modification that works and see how far you can get.

theres a drum mod for the sims 4 though its pretty old now and i dont know if its been updated to work with the newer patches

drums and martial arts was my favorite skills from the sims 3 been waiting for them to get added to the sims 4

If they do release a Bands pack at some point, it's got to include new instruments (definitely drums), gigs and venues, various styles of music, new skills and all. Enough empty packs. It'd be sinful to half-ars3 a Music/Bands themed pack in the same way.

You can get it here on Steam or on the EA app. IIRC, Steam doesn't sell all the packs though. If you plan on getting it, wait for a sale. 20 bucks for a game that's been released 16 years ago is ridiculous. Same with the expansions. Those still sell for 20 bucks per pack.

I really, really hope they do a band pack at some point but like you said, we need more instruments - can't have a band without drums - and various styles 'cause I won't buy such a pack if I can't make a heavy metal band 😁 Ooooh, and such a pack should definitely include festivals, too, with the option of your Sim band performing there.
