Question out of impatience - Reaper career

I'm very impatient so i ask in here. Does a reaper job give you some cool abilities outside of your work days? Any special bubble options? I had a fish for souls on my first reaper rank but that disappeared after promotion. I even read about reaping the plants for souls. Nothing like that in my game. My logic will tell me that as a reaper i shouldn't be a mere human who does nothing special outside reaper's office. That would be pretty lame for the whole career...

seems like all it unlocks is 2 outfits a useless hourglass and a trait that allows you to instantly fix or break any object
