It also doesn't help that we got tough-guy acting morons defending this game, saying dumb excuses, and giving "band-aid on a gunshot wound" level solutions like "I don't have performance issues. I'm only using 30 DLC". Like, you don't say Sherlock Holmes. It's almost as if the less you have, the less of a mess you have to deal with. Who would've thought? You're such a genius! Have a cookie!
Despite that, if you got the patience, the game "can" be fun. I was able to get some fun little screenshots, and I do enjoy playing with my Sim. Honestly, the way to have fun with most Sims games is to roleplay. Pursue their goals, and try to think how they'd think, and play and have them act like that accordingly.
Not a guy, not tough, I also have no idea what you are saying? OP asked a question, I answered? Some DLCs might cause problems, it's why I avoid them as well. Most DLCs I have are not causing my game problems (luckily), I would just suggest reading the reviews for most DLCs you want to buy.
The bugs you get are not only dependent on the DLC. Sure, DLC packs with so many bugs they could just call it features, but your machine and operating system also play a role, so you might get or not get certain bugs. Up to luck, as I can understand.
Can you have fun with the base game? Depends.... Do you like your burger without a burger on it? That's base game.
ignore him, he is a dev from EA working on sims 4 and is mad that people is asking him to work on bug fixing insteand of letting eat his donuts and drink coffee all day
That's cute, and I suggest you don't assume everyone's experiences is the same as yours. You're only proving my point with my "band-aid level solutions" complaint, thinking that reading reviews does anything to fix the major issues with all the DLCs and even the base game itself.
Your solution is just avoidance. It does nothing to help, or fix this game. Please say something more constructive to the topic other than "I don't have this problem" like answers.
Are they really, or you just saying that? I'm just real curious.
Then don't even bother offering help if you don't know the other side of the problem to come up with a much more helpful solution. We're not being rude either, we're tired of people being unhelpful. Don't assume we're being rude, when you're part of the problem. You keep saying "I'm lucky that I don't have these problems" and your answers did nothing to help. Just because you "answered the OP", don't mean you accomplished anything.
There's nothing strange about someone being quote on quote "rude" against someone who's being unhelpful. Especially if you're just instigating it further. Leaving you with that.
I am constantly fighting them to do what i want them to do.
I remember how Sims 3 Into Future ingame ads bragged a lot about "smarter, emotional" sims, but all we got was lagging, broken simulation that costs way too much, and their "emotions" are just buffs/moodlets. Sure, my sim grampa died, but he took a steamy shower, watched some tv, looked at moodlet picture, and he's ready to mingle.
