Try a clean install and delete your Documents> Electronic arts > Sims 4 folder.
Or....maybe just go play GTA 5
Open World will never happen. The game got in the dev process without an open world in mind. This can mostly only happen if EA decides to create another Sim. InZOI is no game which will replace Sims 4; and honestly this is the best thing which can happen for both games.
I understand your frustration with Sims 4 but Sims 4 is still a good game. Sims 4 has a very good modding community, the only problem are the bugs which doesn’t even can fix modder. Let’s hope EA gives Maxis enough resources to fix most of the annoying bugs.
