Struck by lightning bug

Getting struck by lightning is unfortunately bugged. Unless if I notice something different from reloading my saved game it looks like I have a sim stuck with glowing light blue eyes from being struck by lightning. I suspect this bug was caused by the most recent patch update. Anyone else notice this bug?

I would hate to turn off lightning, but I do not want every sim struck by lightning to have glowing light blue eyes. It is not normal looking and makes sims look creepy.

Above, not a Storm Chaser. As far as I know, the blue eyes thing should only happen when a sim with the Storm Chaser trait gets hit by thunder twice. Not the case, ANY hit makes my sim have glowing eyes. Eerie. 10/10 game devs

At this point we migth just start opening bug reports titled "The Game", because this "game" is surely getting even more broken with each button they press.

Fortunately, the bug went away when I reloaded my saved game, but thanks for the reply and screenshot. Hopefully, EA will eventually be made aware of this and fix it.
