How do i get better body mods?
Are bodymods called presets?

depends on the type of body you want

for body shape and size you'll want presets

for looks you'll want skins, overlays and other types of mods

if its a .package or .script then you will want to put them in the mod folder, the sims 4 does not come with one by default you will need to create your own it should be located at
C:\Users\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods

the mod folder can be one folder deep which can help keep it organized if you use lots of mods

by one folder deep i mean you got the mod folder then inside it you can make another folder to put the files in one for hair one for presets all that, or you can just throw em all into the mod folder but it'll be unorganized that way and will make finding a corrupt mod difficult

anything you download that is a .household or .blueprint is not a mod those go into the tray folder and will show up in the ingame gallerys library

.package files are safe you can download them from pretty much anywhere, however be careful with script mods those can (and have in the past) contain viruses, malware and other bad jujus you dont want so only download those from trusted modders or use any you find at your own risk

welcome to the world of modding, you'll most likely start off small with just a few mods but before you know it you'll have around 1k or so like i do
hey! I would recommend getting curse forge! you can download mods, cc, or anything for the game and it will connect to your game automatically without all the extra steps and its free all you have to do is search for it on your browser and download it onto your computer

Thanks! I'll do that right now! Do you use nexus at all or do you guys use different sites?
curseforge is a good place to use however the sims modding community is massive and is spread out all over the place if you limit yourself to just one site you will miss out on many many mods.

modthesims

the sims resources

patreon (some free some not)

and many other sites

mods like ui cheats and any of LittleMsSam's mods cannot be found on curseforge it can only be found on the creators website/patreon
