I am not worried about it or any other update. Temporarily not using certain types of mods can be annoying sometimes, but that is all it is. Just temporary until mods are fixed. Updates may introduce new bugs as well especially for basegame, but again that is nothing new.

Exactly the same. Really hoping they allow us to turn it off. What makes me specially "mad" is that kleptos can swipe stuff in front of my sim and just walk away like nothing happened, and my sims dont seem to care as well. That bestseller I just wrote and left on the table? Taken. Now, will it be on that klepto inventory or household inventory? No... gone to the void...

The point of Kleptomaniac trait I believe is that it was originally intended for stealing without forcing burglars into the basegame, but burglars perhaps should have been included when The SIms 4 first came out because of Get to Work that came out only a little later from 2015. Meaning that The Sims 4 basegame from 2014 includes burglars and Get to Work adds more gameplay for them.

wow, took them 12 years when it has been from the very start in previous games. I hope this update also fixes the vampire glitch.
Now let’s see how annoying they will be. I know Sims has a habit of making new features extrem. There is no disabled button but if it rare, then I can live with that and if the Burglar Alarm works, I am okey with that also. I was just blind, you can disable it under game settings. After a short test with a vampire I can say the frequency seems okey without lot challenge.

The Sims 4 is not 12 or 11 years old. It is almost 10 and a half years old, but not yet 11. The Sims 4 does not turn 11 years old until September 8th.

I would say time to get guard dogs but even when a dog is aggressive it is not a proctor by no means. lol call 911? why ? their jobs are not real. We don't have guns or any thing to defend against bad guys of any kind so I fear this is just going to be another thing to turn off if that is and option. Otherwise like the Stan Fan you will be replacing stuff all the time you get robbed.
