Sometimes I wish I had not gotten some of them. I don't use them and some just don't care for.
I don't feel like TS4 attracts many people looking to play it as a multiplayer. I'd say it is more targeted at god complex / micro managing.
Hitting close to home here
It has the online Gallery feature and can integrate with your Friends list, but mostly so you can find their Gallery stuff easier.
Now WAY back in the day of the early 2000s there was The Sims Online and it flopped. Hard. Like so badly it became a cautionary tale in textbooks of how NOT to do an online game.
And about the time that they were shutting down those servers for lack of interest games like Second Life and IMVU started and are still around. Because, ironically, they embraced and managed the things that The Sims Online felt they did wrong. (Whispers: adult stuff...)
And, HOO BOY, if you think The Sim 4 is expensive, it has nothing on Second Life which has an in-game economy, with a floating exchange rate to real money both in and out, and has been subject of academic papers on economics.
My guess is people don't really want to play the sims with randos. If someone wanted to play MP in sims, they probably already are with their friends.
Good luck
It baffles me why anyone would buy everything for this game.
I would think if you were playing multiplayer everyone would have to have the same DLC's. It would make since. The game worlds would have to be the same. That would factor in the persons game play and not everyone will enjoy the same DLC's I think it would be a rare thing to find people that played exactly the same. A rare thing indeed.
