They do sales very frequently, a week or two and all the craps should be discounted again (or when the new "expansion" hits). Some certain sites sell packs even cheaper tho.

They never put the kits on sale though so feel free to purchase them whenever. At 4.99 I guess I understand that. Sometimes though they do offer one for free . Not on Steam where I purchase mine but if I want it I just go grab it from EA.

either or. after buddy said the cheap stuff doesn't get discounted i bought it and the last wedding story at full price. YOLO
I've gotten the impression that DLC for The Sims 4 goes on sale about as often as Steam allows it, but Valve has rules for how often you can put stuff on sale so it tends to revolve around special occasions.

Also, the EA App has its own sales that aren't necessarily at the same time or same amount as Steam, so it's worth checking both.

On the one had, Kits don't really go on sale, on the other hand they cost less than a Big Mac. And, of all the DLC, the Kits are the easiest to ignore and not miss much of anything. I got the Korean themed Kit and I've probably used the new cooking recipes more than the Build and CAS items it came with. (Honestly, I found the "Beat the Dust" Kit more annoying than anything.)
