Cozy event???
I have to bake chocolate chip cookies. I do not find the recipe anywhere. Where do I find it or how do I bake them?

Click on oven or fridge and select cook, then click the cake icon and scroll till you find the cookies.

I am still not seeing chocolate chip cookies. I see sugar cookies , peanut butter and others but no chocolate chip on any of my characters. My chiefs don't even have them. I thought maybe I missed the recipe somehow. :(

Do you use the oven or the fridge? Because if you click on the oven to bake, that recipe won't be there. It's under "cooking" when you click on the fridge. Doesn't make any sense, but that's where it usually is. It's not a recipe you need to find because it's tied to your Sim's cooking skill, I think level 3. You should be able to find it by clicking on the cooking option on the fridge and then scrolling through the recipes.

Yeah, I'm not sure why Maxis had put choco chip cookies and cakes in the cooking category. I use a simple mod because it annoys me to have my sims 'cook' foods which are baked.

I have tried both and I still have not found it yet. I am maxed cooking so that should not be the reason

Nope, it shouldn't, that's a recipe you get pretty early on when a Sim starts cooking. Have you tried with a different Sim or a different household?

I'm scratching my head on this, because I believe I use the mod this bug thread mentions.. or at least in part.
I use Simularity's Bake Everything In Any Oven mod as well as LMS's More Servings mod, but only the Cakes In Baking Menu script+pkg part of that one since Simularity's hadn't moved everything over.
Chocolate Chip Cookies are in the 'bake' menu for me and my sim was able to complete the cookies task with both installed.

There's someone on console claiming to have this issue, so it may very well be a vanilla bug. Phae, had you happened to notice when that recipe disappeared from the menu? Could it possibly be related to this event?

Edit: So I can't find anything else on this scrolling through bug reports. There's only one post on EA Forums about sims unable to finish baking them halfway through. Not out of the realm of possibility the one console player reporting the issue may have just overlooked the recipe or maybe even figured it's at a lower skill, but it looks like a rare one.
Maybe try Jehane's suggestion with another household, or chuck the mods a few minutes just to bake them. ??

wait... why do we bake cookies and not cook cookies? I looked this up once... something like "bake" has a French root and "cook" was Germanic/Anglo Saxon. The Normand invade and the two languages got mixed and confusion resulted.
I suspect that Cookies were put in cooking because most other languages are not so... diverse.

Who knows. I'm still flummoxed as to why sims 'bake' fruit & yoghurt. Unless I'm remembering all wrong and it's the mods, which could be, Maxis had originally put that one in the baking menu.

Edit: Or had Maxis put it in Gourmet? I've no idea what's gourmet about fruit & yoghurt but.. yeah, I think it's my mods. I'm too tired to be sure.

Well since I really have not looked for it until this event it could be related to the event. I only bake when it is requested most of the time. lol but when I was looking and find cookies but not the one I needed I thought maybe I missed getting the recipe didn't know I should have had it all along lol

Yes I have tried other sims and even another world which makes me think maybe it has something to do with the event. I guess that should not surprise me :(
