Selling a Masterpiece
I attempted to sell a Masterpiece to an Art Gallery, and was asked, "Are You Sure?" Well... I was before it asked me :(. Normally when you get an 'Are You Sure' it's because there is either a downside to Doing It or an Upside to Not Doing It. So... is there a reason I should think twice about selling my Many Many Masterpieces? (Okay... My one Masterpiece...but still.) :(

Advanced Thanx!!!

You can find out for yourself on the issue and make your own mistakes in the game, it's required to understand how the game works and what you do with it. As with everything you do in life, you'll eventually make mistakes but it's those mistakes you learn from.

To the question: there is no downside, as you are getting more simoleons from it and you can paint more masterpieces, potentially several of them in a row. it's not even a drop in the ocean by selling dozens for some hard earned simoleons for your sim household.

Nice... 'Yeah', Definitely time to sale :). I still only have one masterpiece, but I'm getting there. Thanx!

unfortunately the pricing per masterpiece is variable. sometimes they can be really high value monsters (potentially as high as 20k or more), other times they are barely more than typical excellent! quality (between 4k-7k generally).
