Sell to: Collector vs Art Gallery
I can see that selling to an Art Gallery pays more (20% per something I read); but I don't understand why the option to Sell to a Collector is still there. It seems (to me) that the Art Gallery would have replaced the Collector, unless there is another advantage to continuing to sell to a Collector.

Okay... I know the above sounds more like a statement than a Question :(... but the question being: is there more to it? Is there a reason I may still wish to sell to a collector?

Oh... and before you ask... I'm not all about the Art... I'm all about the Money; Write me a Check, and I will Sell Out :D Mo Money... Mo Happiness!!!

Advanced Thanx for any input.

Im pretty sure one of the options gives a small fame bump and money and the other just gives money. I could be wrong, I havent done any art on sims in a few months, but that was how it used to work as I recall.

you need to be in the artist career in order to sell to an art gallery, outside of that it is selling to a collector. meaning if you lose the job or quit the job you can still sell to a collector.

the art gallery is an optional because of the career, not as a replacement.

if you have get famous you can get fame from it, a lot of fame. It does get quite grindy in the later ranks however.
