Complete 3 Emotional Paintings

I'm attempting to complete my Current Aspirations.
1) Sell 3 Paintings
2) Obtain Level 4 Painting Skill... and
3) Complete 3 Emotional Paintings.

I've Sold (and Checked Off) Sell 3 Paintings; I've Reached (and Checked Off) Obtain Level 4 Painting Skill; However... I'm not sure how to do the Emotional Painting. My Toon is almost always inspired; they are currently Happy due to Food; and I made them Flirty with a Romance Movie. But after painting, I'm still at 0 of 3 Emotion Paintings.

As a side note (just in case I'm just bugged)... I was thinking maybe the problem is the Cheap Easel I'm using, so I went to see about buying a new one. But that one is locked, and states, Unlocks when you reach Level 4 Painting Skill; and as mentioned above I've got Lvl 4 Painting. It's checked off under Aspirations... and it shows under skill, with 85% towards level 5.

So... in hopes that's enough information... any ideas what I may be doing wrong; or a way passed this?

Edit: Regarding the Easel... I just realized it says Unlocks when you reach level 4 of the Painter CAREER... Not Skill Level. So that has nothing to do it; I think I'm only level 3 of the Painter Career. However... the main issue; the 3 Emotional Paintings... is still a problem.

You can use aspiration points to purchase emotional potions, flirty, confident, and so on

I know how to GET the emotion... I don't know how to PAINT the Emotion. I've got my toon Flirty and Happy, but A) When I paint something it's just another painting... and B) If I'm looking for an Emotional Option is doesn't show.

the 3 emotional paintings are easy to do, past level 5 of painting the inspired moodlet will turn confident, so you'll have to let the inspired moodlet wear off and paint pictures, excellent quality pictures will bring out the confident moodlet when you reach level 5, when you reach level 7 painting your sim gain masterpiece quality, you'll gain an additional confident moodlet when you manage to paint a masterpiece.

it shouldn't be hard to do unless your sim has traits that trigger a specific emotional moodlet or lot traits that can interfere. when you sim is in a confident moodlet you can paint your 3 pictures.

from your easl, you should have a choice of type of painting you want, including more options that lead to even more choices, the easy identifier is a small box of colour on the left and the emotion that describes, for example (pink) "Flirty Painting" or (red) "Angry Painting". Usually on the first set of options on the easl the confident painting option is there.

Okay... I Got It!!! I just got 2 out of 3 completed. The part I was missing is that the Emotion has to Actually be active...not just on the list
