if you want to set the whole household to have the same thing, say for example you have have a household with 6 young women and want to keep them from getting pregnant.
click sim > MCCC > Flag Active Sims... > MC Pregnancy > Flags Affecting Offspring > No Offspring
There is another way to prevent a pregnancy if you don't want to set those flags.
Let the sim get pregnant > click sim > MCCC > MC Pregnancy > Pregnancy End

yes there is a difference between the computer which gives all the important settings and the sim that gives other settings which are just as important. sometimes you need another sim in order to access other settings for the sim you want, for example setting no marriage, as it can't be done for some reason through your own sim.
