I, too, have offered up a rant. Then I discovered it is one of three things:
1) Steam to EA App link.
2) One of several problems with EA App (game running indicators, needs update, etc).
3) Lock files in my Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 directory.
Never had a borked game file.
Ditto, I wanted to load a household in San Myshuno to check out if I have too the stuck festival/clutter bug. … It was a lot. I don’t recommend playing in San Myshuno, or in a neighborhood which you have a rental house, except for people which like to clean up their save via Sims4Studio. The game is really a mess since Lovestruck.
