Sim stuck in labor?

My sim is pregnant and every time she goes to have the baby she just gets stuck in never ending labor. The menu usually won't open so I have to just close the game with task manager. I've deleted a couple of mods and have updated all used mods and it still happens. I've tried having the baby at home, joining them at the hospital as well as sending them alone and every time she gets stuck. Anyone else having this issue? Any ideas on how to fix it?

Do you use MCCC? Maybe It's the pregnancy itself which is bugged. You can end it with MCCC and start a new one. After that, set the phase to labor and see if it's working then.
Don't know if this helps, it sounds more like a script bug.
