Silly question - are you sure you're looking at the right shop in the Realm of Magic to buy staffs? There are three of them on the island, each with its own offer.

Right by the portal is the one for staffs and tomes, next to it (2-3 houses down) is the one for gems and brooms and at the very end of the row is the one for fruit and metals.
yes it's with all tree of them

but why did i need to delete the localtumbcache.pkg?

It accumulates and stores small bits of data which you may not want if you remove/change mods. It's also recommended if you install new ones so a clear file generates. It's harmless to your game to delete it. It just creates a new localthumbcache each time you start the game.

Have you tried removing all of your mods and deleting the thumbcache, then?
If it's still not working after doing that, you could try repairing the game or verify files from Steam. Gear at right > properties > local files, then click on verify integrity. If not, repair it from EA App under The Sims 4 game options.
This is why it's best to disable auto updates and remove your Mods folder previous to them. First run the game once without mods after updates. Occasionally, Options.ini has been known to get stuck. That can be deleted as a last resort, but try repairing first.

Edit: Also, are you on Windows? Is One Drive enabled? You'll want to disable that, if so.

All of your mods must be up to date, too. As Xeriath and Lady Aeleanor have both confirmed, the 50/50 method is the best option.
ok i'll try all of that

you need to take off your mods, do a clean uninstall with revo uninstaller, re-install your game, and don't put mods on it.

Or
you need to take off your mods, do a clean uninstall with revo uninstaller, re-install your game, and put one mod by one and see what is the troubles (and sometimes it is the combinaison of 2 mods so ... be brave).

what is revo uninstaller

sorry for my late answer. Revo uninstaller is a free program which uninstall completely (with all hidden files and keys) on your computer.

The only thing is you need to take off the "restauration point" option.

https://www.revouninstaller.com/

for doing it,
you open steam,
you open revo,
you ask revo to unistall,
steam will uninstall, don't close revo,
when steam finishes, you ask revo to scan
and then you say yes on delete everything revo finds.

The only thing is to do backup save if you want to keep yours safes and reput them after. Because revo will delet everything. It call a "clean unisntall" because the choosing program is really totaly deleted.

Np for the late answer but isn't that kinda tricky to do and what will it fix?
Can't i just uninstall Steam myself by just deleting the app?
pls tell me cause i don't want to destroy my sims

Steam doesn't delete all files. You still have hidden files and keys register. Specially if you have mods, because mods can change some programmation in the register or in hiddden files. The deleted by steam is not enough. Revo deletes all.

I am sorry but your game is already broke with the mods. I even don't know if you can made a backup saves because they probably won't work without your mods, and same mods that broke your game.

So I think it is better to delete all with Revo. Close and open your computer than re-installl the sims4, don't put your mods except if you know which ones broke your game before. Because if you reput the same mods, you will have the same issue.

But i don't want to lose my saves and i can't play right now cause my game is broken but i tried it multiple times without mods when i could still play and i still had the issue. I have One Drive tho but i can't remove it cause it saves all the things i do so i don't lose everything if my computer is broken.
I think

Even with yours mods uninstalled now, they broke your game, so it doesn't matter if you delete them without uninstall all your game ncluded hidden files/keys and your saves.

Your game will stay broke. The mods changed some keys or written in the root of the game so your game is not normal right now.

Your Sims4 is broken too in your one drive.

It is only the sims4 doesn't works properly, your computer is not broken, it is only your sims4.

It is the bad thing with mods, they can break a full game, sometimes just one mod does this, sometimes it is more, sometimes it is a mix between them.

If you want to play again with sims, you need to delete all and make a fresh new start. There is no other way. I had the same with sims3 and skyrim and so on.

Mods = can put hell in a game. It is fun to add mod, I agree, but you need to be prepare to learn how to take a mod off, because some can not be delete simply, you have a process to do and you need to learn how to uninstall all files from a game. And the most important, learning that you will lost every saves. That is the way it is. Be brave, erase-me all this game and retry.

When you do dowload mods, you need to put free antivirus "bitdefender" on your computer and scan all your dowloaded files/CC/mods before you put them and play with them.

Courage, you can do it.

But i i have many saves and i don't want to lose them all but it says when i go to my saves in finder there is a thing that says steam_autocloud.vdf does that mean if i uninstall the sims that i will still have my saves?
And will i still have my packs?
