EA should change annoying social interaction construct.
Which is... need to introduce to people in order to unlock 99% of all other interactions. Like... why do i need to introduce to sims whom i only want to intimidate by howling? And many other things which my sim should do to others, when it's not talking. For example on Hijanks festival. Why do i need to introduce to sims whom i want to prank on? Introduction should be an option, not necessity.

Not gonna happen with EA. You are stuck with it unless you can find a mod for it.
however i've long since passed this annoyance, compared to other aspects like the autonomy, this is nothing compared to that in pure negative value.

Your problem is autonomy? Really? The thing which you can turn off? I have my autonomy turned off all the time, cuz sims on autonomy are always up to no good.

Sims on autonomy are bumbling idiots that can hardly keep themselves alive.

Exactly. I am mostly RPG game player, so my custom is make the sims immortal and max out every skill possible, for which i need them to do exactly what i want (control freak). So option is a family of werewolves, or vampires, or at least one must be spellcaster, i really don't like to use reward points for potion of youth to prevent them to age up all the time.

well done for finding the off switch. do you want a cookie? *sarcasm mode*
was that silly bit of theatrics really needed?

Self with autonomy off you have a ton of autonomy left in this game and need a mod to fix this. I read the new infant care overwrite too action with autonomy off switch if the infant reach a *worry point*.

They said sims4 are the smartest sims. Never got a better lie. Sims in Sims3 was smarter, at least, these sims don’t drop your select queue for a stupid reaction or idle action(I need now to react to this deco! This is more important as that I get clean. After this I will complain that I am still dirty, Master) in a modfree game.

i'm a control freak as well with my game. yes, i turned off the autonomy to get away from most of the crap decisions the developers have put out (which i did a while back (oh look the off switch, oh wow!)) , it still doesn't change their idiotic social introductions.

I tend to let other sims come and chat to my sim and they can introduce themselves, from there i can get on with being mean, evil or whatever else as it makes more sense that way.

Yes, it WAS actually needed cuz people usually have problems with stuff which they cannot deal with themselves. If you have problem with something, first you go to settings and look it up, instead of complaining to the chat, cuz you are too lazy to search for yourself, you just like to search for your own audience, huh mate? ;)

What about you start with this first next time, instead of trying to express your bitterness? Hm?

Eh... "ton" is a bit of an overstatement. When you turn off the autonomy, all the autonomy left is during chat with simmers (i took care of it by mod, partly, because the mod don't kill autonomous chat, it just erases empty chat and substitute it with aimed chat like friendly, romance and such) and the will of survive, when need is in the red which is not a bad thing. Sometimes i send sims to do something but they start to walk around incoherently, which is i believe a bug. I don't know about other autonomy than that.

With autonomy off is self one autonomy function too much, so a ton is the right word here.

Here some examples:

Sims will run inside if you have a thunderstorm/blizzard.
Sim will react to swearing, so in a restaurant they will sit up and play they reaction.
Sim will react to celebrities, so It can occur that they walk all way back just to react
Sim will still take care of basis needs if they drop to low.
Sim will still pet pets.
Sim will try to introduce herself to pets. (Specially if theses sims have Dog/Cat lover)
Sim loves the stupid *what’s happen* reaction.
Teen Sim will wait of another Teen sim that they can them show a video (Hidden not in queue)
Sim will react to deco and go to the furniture (Hidden not in in queue)

So, more DLC you have and so more on a control freak you are so more will you be bother with this things. It’s the same problem as idles. The team loves idles, the problem is this idles play to much. If you use a mod which removes or reduce idles your sims have so much more time.

I play sometime with autonomy on, so these things don’t bother me there because I use a ton of mods which tweaks autonomy and these sims make more as watching tv, play on computer or dancing. But if I play with autonomy off I don’t want ANY autonomy action but in Sims4 autonomy off is still somehow with autonomy. It’s a sad game that I need more as 30 mods (or MCCC Tuner) to remove all forces action which sim still can do with autonomy off)

Yeah, mods are still a necessity. I try to stomp out a lot of senseless auto conversation, use mccc tuning/other mods if idles are out of control (celeb react, swearing react, auto mobile phone, better convo, etc), as well as mccc to reset the sim if their reaction is confounding and I have no idea wtf they're doing/why. I'd also turned off blizzards after their charm had worn off, and Stormchasers don't react to T-storms (every of my sims gets this reward trait).

But you can never control it all, auto reacts happen and idles are endless. I still find it far more tolerable than playing with autonomy on, whereas I find sims' idiocy is endless. I mean, it's a matter of preference as to how people play. I've watched friends play and shout/swear at the screen because of their auto-on sims' behaviours. I'm not keen on taking things to that extent. I simply take better care of my sims than they do on their own. ;)

This is equally a nuisance for vampires wanting to feed off unsuspecting sims. Point defeating, surely but I also feel that introductions humiliate my vampires. :steamfacepalm:

One last note @Ravenlast, I don't know if you use the MCCC mod but if you do, you can use Flags on your mages/spellcasters to make them absolutely immortal, no ageing/death. Click mccc on sim, it's under flags options > commands > flag sim as immortal. You'll never need to use the PoY again or the annoying Immortal potion which leaves strange glowing rings circling their necks. The same can be done with vampires to make them immune to whatever could possibly kill them, even if not age. Werewolves, same. Flagging makes them truly indestructible.

Edit: I think Maxis programmes something similar into their 'helper', Alex Moyer if you've seen this very human sim roaming about endlessly young, unable to die.

Hmmm interesting, yeah. I don't use MCC, true. But i don't think i need that though, i will never EVER play with pure human sims, that's boring. My main game is my handmade sim, Bella Goth (teared away from her family) both spellcasters, and her daughter Cass, joined later when she became young adult, joined the vampire ranks. No potions of youth, they have own spellcaster potion for that, plus the spell copypasto.

Exactly my thoughts. But at least vampires in Sims 4 are more evil and bada$$, in Sims 3 you weren't able to take the blood by force, which was cringe. Pegi 7 hurting this franchise.

Nah, I don't permit humans either.
Copypasto and Transportalate are spells I can't do without, and Sims 4 vamps are definitely the best Maxis has ever offered up. 3s, I loved them but they didn't do much of anything but turn other sims and use mind tricks... crippling bore. The best 3 vamps had done was to look very cool as ghosts. ;)
