Bought it because I was itching for something new, and it was on sale.
Meh.
The attraction system is interesting in that it includes money, like sims 3 did. IRL, I think money is immersive; I grew up on welfare and was poor until I graduated college with a BSEE. The difference in the my dating prospects went from "the sucker who pays for dinner when I can't get a real date" to lots of offers as soon as the news hit. And my bro was in a similar situation but he went the opposite way and married an heiress (she didn't care he didn't have money). Money IS attractive. I think it's interesting that EA puts money in the game but some romance themed mods don't, because of the myth that no one is attracted to money by the mod makers. So pure...
Anyway. I guess I got some new hair styles and clothes. Not really interested in dating in the game. Always went with a spell caster and friendship potion+love potion = soulmate. In real life, I hated trying to date. Dating is Miserable humiliation ritual.

I like Lovestruck overall, but I do not use the dating app and it does not seem to have that much when it comes to actual gameplay where it is not bad overall and some expansion packs add less gameplay, but some of what it has for new gameplay I do not use that much. More gameplay than Horse Ranch, Get to Work (has three new jobs but it seems to get repetitive after a while of playing instead of fun and retail is still bugged), Snowy Escape (most of the new gameplay is tied to new world only), Discover University (because university experience is long and tedious and I frequently skip it), and perhaps For Rent (but it depends on how frequently someone plays with residential rental buildings in gameplay) and City Living (world is large but does not seem to add that much when it comes actual gameplay and depends on how frequently someone plays with apartments at this world), but less than Seasons, Growing Together, Life & Death, Island Living, Get Famous, and slightly less gameplay than High School Years to name just a few examples.

You find if you edit your mates in cas that the most of the attraction system for them will be the most unusual types. Broke, no ambition , color hair,hates on color of outfits, etc.
