Blast from the past event

I was working on the different goals and at one point I have to use the computer to activate a time travel thing, I got a notice that my computer was fried and I had to repair or replace but when I click on my computer I don't see any option to repair or replace like I do when other items need to be repaired, the computer is working fine, so how do I advance in the event?

Buy a cheap computer, use it till it breaks and repair it.

press Ctrl Shift C, then type testingcheats true
Then shift and click on the computer, select BREAK OBJECT
