Run 2 Sims 4 on 1 PC?
Have any one tried to do this? Please help if you're familiar with this situation.

Cause I'm trying to run 2 that me and my partner both can play together.

Don't think you can run two versions of the game simultaneously. Even if you could, it wouldn't be an enjoyable experience trying to play these two versions at the same time.

Technically it's not the same. Each game version on different hard drive, different account.
Even if it were possible, Sims 4 is a hardware intensive game and I would advise running two instances of it on the same machine. If you have another computer that meets the minimum requirements of running Sims 4, then you would be better off buying another copy and playing from a different account using the Sims 4 multiplayer mod[sims-multiplayer.com].

Well, during the pandemic, buying off another PC is a tough situation for me hence I'm trying this solution if it works.
But however, my PC can handle 2 sims 4 at the same time cause "running 2 sims at the same time for 1 PC" used to work back then. Somehow or for some reasons, EA locked this method.

I used to dual client plenty of games, most games with launchers make this hard to do. What you can do is a nifty Windows 10 trick if you are on PC. Make sure you have two LOCAL accounts on the PC. Run the games actual exe like normal and put it in Windowed mode.

Then, on the GAME icon on your desktop HOLD the SHIFT key at the SAME TIME as you RIGHT CLICK on the GAME icon. You will see an option "Run as different user" use the credentials of the other local account and voila.

This is in theory, I have not tried it with Origin/Steam but have done it for other maaany other games and apps. Good luck!

I'm actually using Aster Ibik, which allow you to run 2 local accounts at the same time in seperated monitors that allow you to use 2 KB&M at the same time but different functional options. That said, it's like running 2 set up at the same time but using only 1 CPU. It has a strength but it's also a weakness that games with the same launchers or multiplayer videogames that use IP address or MAC address as a identify to run games won't work in this situation.

Your method is actually the one that I'm running at the moment in my case but no, run with different users won't help since Sims 4 needs Origin launcher to run.
