Can download but can install.
Hi,

i try to install the game after downloading.. Now it gives a error: The EA app encountered an error and couldnt finish installing (error code: INST-3-1307) I did check it on google. Saying that i should have enough space on my disc which i have..... Im already trying to fix for 2 hours but nothing seem to work.

you probably need more space than needed because the game needs to decompress files while installing

I have exactly the same error message when launching the game via steam... and I still have a lot of space on my hard drive......

the EAP app application was broken following the update... I repaired it and the game launches... EA and their crappy update

EA updates The Sims 4 on fairly regular basis. You just need to get used to that at this point. Committed players to The SIms 4 will still play this game for years (which includes myself as well) even with these updates that are sometimes considered to be annoying. Edit: So I was able to launch The Sims 4 without issue and I do not need to repair EA App, but it is a bummer that some people are having issues with this update.

ya u kinda have to put up with it though since u cant even open/install the EA app

Wish that I could help you, but I can't. I never encountered this problem before and you are only the first person I have ever seen make such a complaint about this issue on Steam. I am not having this specific issue, but I am hoping someone on Steam can help you with that. Bottom line is that a lot of people do not like EA App, but EA forces people to use this app in order to play The SIms 4 regardless of whether they want to use it or not.
